MuCa's new audio guide

For the Monfalcone Shipbuilding Museum (MuCa), we have created a new audio guide that completely renews the visitor experience, enhancing both the interior exhibition route and the surrounding urban heritage.

Compared with the previous version, the new app offers advanced features designed to engage a wide and diverse audience:

• Audio pathways divided by duration to suit visitors' time and interests
• An interactive, geolocated outdoor map
• A descriptive internal map, with texts introducing the different exhibition rooms
• An intuitive interface, accessible to all, designed for smooth autonomous use

With this solution, we transformed the MuCa app into a narrative and informational tool, capable of connecting physical spaces and cultural content in a coherent and immersive way.

Inside the museum 

MuCa's new audioguide has a revamped and intuitive graphic design, designed to offer a simple and immediate user experience. The content, both inside and outside the museum, is organized into routes of different durations, so as to adapt to the needs of each visitor.

Thanks to QR codes in the panels of the rooms, the audio and text content of the guide can be accessed directly, without complicated steps. The user can freely decide whether to follow the suggested route or select only the stops of greatest interest, building a personalized visiting experience.

Web App 

To make the visiting experience even more accessible, simply frame the QR codes on the panels in the room with your smartphone to directly access the digital content. Each code links to a dedicated web page, where we offer an audio track, a textual description and an introductory image representing the subject matter. In this way, we enable all visitors to easily enjoy the content, without having to download anything.

For those who want an even richer experience, we have included direct links to digital stores on the web pages so they can download the official app compatible with their device.

External routes

In the Audioguide there is a section dedicated to the map of Panzano. By activating geolocation on your smartphone, you can easily orient yourself and reach the various points of interest in the working-class village.
Each placeholder (pin) on the map provides quick access to audio and textual content related to that location. In this way, you can start listening to the audio track even as you are on your way to your destination.
Visiting is completely free: you can choose places to explore right away and those to leave for another time, listening to the audio wherever you are.
