MuCa

MuCa is the app of the Monfalcone Museum of Shipbuilding (MuCa), a diffuse museum that directly engages the territory.
The app is a useful tool for getting to know the museum, not only with the route inside the exhibition halls, but also with a series of outdoor routes in the village of Panzano.

The museum experience becomes interactive thanks also to the use of augmented reality, which allows, not only to obtain in-depth information inside the Museum, but also to explore the Panzano neighborhood on foot and rediscover how it has changed in more than a century.

The News section of the app allows users to stay up-to-date on MuCa's activities, making the Museum a place of continuous discovery.

Simple and Accessible

From the Museum section, the user can consult the exhibition floor plan. Each thematic room is briefly described with text and images, providing an overview of what the Museum offers its guests. The experience of visiting the museum is also enhanced by multimedia content in Augmented Reality.

AR functionality

By accessing the Visit IN section from the menu and framing images of the exhibition route with your mobile device, the application will automatically provide video content ( in Italian and English ) that will accompany the visitor to discover rich insights.

Guided tours

By accessing the Visit OUT section, you will be able to start one of the outdoor guided tours in the Panzano ward. A narrative voice will accompany step-by-step through the streets of the working-class village, introduce the main places and topics of historical interest, and provide windows into the past thanks to historical photos in Augmented Reality.
