HIC SUNT LEONES
Project Details
Interactive 3D graphics can be extremely effective when used in dedicated installations. Large projection surfaces or multiscreen systems make visits to museums and exhibitions much richer and more immersive.
This example is an interactive 3D project we created as part of an exhibition about explorers from Friuli who undertook pioneering scientific journeys around the world in the 19th and 20th centuries. For the exhibition Mobile 3D created a virtual reconstruction of an ancient library, which visitors could explore in a room fitted with video projectors. This setting allowed them to interact with a range of information, particularly historical footage of the voyages.
The video proposed in this page shows some features and the beauty of the 3D reconstruction.
